According to National Conference ( NC) spokesman, the newly appointed provincial president of NC, Nasir Aslam wani has directed all the office bearers to stay put in Kashmir and be available to the people.
“All the office bearers have been told not to move to Jammu or out of the valley without taking permission from the province” said Nasir.
“All these valley based leaders need to be here and redress the grievances of the people. If you are an office bearers of the Kashmir province you need to be here, you have no work to be in Jammu or else where” said Nasir adding “In case of some important work they need to travel out, they can always seek permission” he added.
The newly appointed Provincial president in a meeting with various delegations at the party headquarters assured them that all their grievances will be taken up with the government to ensure speedy redressal.
“I am in the process of making a committee which will be in regular touch with the secretariat. They will look into all the demands and ensure that all the problems the party headquarters are apprised of are immediately brought to the notice of the concerned ministers and ensured its speedy redressal” said Nasir “The idea is to ensure that people do not have to travel from far flung areas and make a que at the secretariat gate, we will be the bridge and help them resolve their grievances” he told the party workers from Shoipan, Pulwama and Khansahib
“We are putting our heads together to derive a mechanism so that the problems faced by the people are addressed at the party head quarters itself and that they don’t have to travel all the way to Jammu to have their grievances addressed”
Meanwhile the NC Spokesman Tanvir Sadiq said that a mass contact program is being formulated and the party will visit the length and breadth of the valley. He said that the program and polices of the Omar Abdullah led government will be massively taken to the nook and corner of the valley.
“The process of mass contact program under the Province Chief Nasir Wani is being formulated and will hopefully commence from next month” said Tanvir.
