J&K Bank RSETI Rajouri concluded an entrepreneurship development programme for its 5th batch of trainees, in which 18 women belonging to village Kandi of block Budhal participated.

The programme, ‘Knitting and Embroidery’, was sponsored by DRDA Rajouri.

The Bank’s Vice-President Jammu (West) R K Chhibber was the Chief Guest at the valedictory function.

Speaking on the occasion, he informed the trainees that all branches in the zone were already advised to process the loan cases of pass-outs from the institute on priority basis. While educating the trainees regarding different loan schemes, he urged them to avail various services and products of the Bank particularly loans like KCC which had nominal rate of interest and was easy to avail.

Director RSETI said that the mission of institute was to train the youth and create a culture of self-employment by conducting such training programmes on regular basis. He also assured the trainees of complete help for their credit linkage after training.

Others present on the occasion were J&K Bank LDM, General Manager DIC & Employment Officer M A Mirza, representatives from DRDA Rajouri DDM NABARD Des Raj and representatives from local media.

Budgam:

RSETI Budgam also wrapped up a two-week programme on ‘Dress Designing for Women’, in  which 27 trainees belonging to BPL families of the district participated. The training was sponsored by DRDA, Budgam.

At the valedictory function Participation Certificates were distributed among the trainees. Director RSETI appreciated the keen interest shown by the trainees during the training period. He said that he was sure that the skills acquired by the participants during the training period would help them to set up their own ventures and that they would become successful entrepreneurs.

Kupwara:

RSETI Kupwara concluded a ten-day training programme in which 30 trainees, identified and sponsored by DRDA Kupwara, participated. Cluster Head, Kupwara presided over the valedictory function that was attended by officials from DRDA, government departments and bank officers, later on certificates of Participation among the trainees were distributed. He impressed upon outgoing trainees to utilize skill and expertise gained during training in their business.

Director RSETI informed the audience that Institute is committed to provide Bank/ Credit linkage to all the trainees.
