SRINAGAR: The Delhi Government has ordered the transfer and posting of 33 IAS officers belonging to the AGMUT and DANICS cadres, including five IAS officers from the erstwhile Jammu and Kashmir segment.
Among the key changes, senior IAS officer Navin Kumar Choudhary has been posted as Additional Chief Secretary (General Administration Department), while Bipul Pathak and Prashant Goyal have been assigned revised responsibilities in the Delhi administration.
According to the government order, Bipul Pathak, a 1992-batch AGMUT cadre IAS officer, will continue as Additional Chief Secretary (Social Welfare) and hold additional charges as Managing Director of the Delhi SC/ST/OBC Finance and Development Corporation (DCHFC) and the Delhi Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, Minorities and Handicapped Financial and Development Corporation (DSFDC), along with Additional Chief Secretary (SC/ST/OBC), Additional Chief Secretary (Women and Child Development) and Financial Commissioner.
Prashant Goyal, a 1993-batch AGMUT cadre officer, has been posted as Additional Chief Secretary (Power). He will also hold additional charges as Chairman and Managing Director of the Delhi Financial Corporation (DFC) and the Delhi State Civil Supplies Corporation (DSCSC), Additional Chief Secretary (Administrative Reforms) and Additional Chief Secretary (Health and Family Welfare).
Navin Kumar Choudhary, a 1994-batch AGMUT cadre IAS officer who was serving as Additional Chief Secretary (Irrigation and Flood Control), with additional charge of Additional Chief Secretary (General Administration Department), has been posted as Additional Chief Secretary (GAD). He will retain additional charge of Additional Chief Secretary (I&FC) and take on the additional charge of Additional Chief Secretary (Food and Civil Supplies).
The order also assigns new responsibilities to two officers who were awaiting postings.
Prasanna Ramaswamy G, a 2010-batch AGMUT cadre officer, has been posted as Additional Commissioner in the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD).
Swati Sheemar, a 2023-batch AGMUT cadre IAS officer, has been posted as Additional Director (Education), replacing Patil Pranjal Lahensingh, who has been transferred to the Women and Child Development Department (WCD).
The order covers 33 IAS officers from the AGMUT and DANICS cadres. Details of the remaining transfers and postings were not provided in the information available for this report.
