SRINAGAR: Two youth from Srinagar reportedly lost their way in the forest area of Rayil Gund in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district while out on a trekking expedition.
Officials said that the missing youth have been identified as Huzair and Minaan, both residents of Srinagar. The duo had reportedly called Dial 112 for help after losing their way.
Following the distress call, teams of SDRF Unit Gund, Police Station Gund and Dial 112 party rushed towards the location. However, contact could not be established as their mobile phones are switched off.
Search operation is underway.
