SRINAGAR: At least five persons were injured in a road accident at Bagnoti in Nowshera sub-division along the Jammu-Rajouri-Poonch National Highway.
An official said that the accident occurred when an XUV vehicle (bearing registration number JK12D5477), travelling from Poonch to Jammu, lost control and collided with a tempo traveller (bearing registration number JK02BC1693), coming from Jammu to Rajouri.
Five individuals sustained injuries in the collision and were shifted to Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Nowshera for treatment.
Meanwhile, police have taken cognisance of the incident and initiated an investigation. (JKNS)
