Srinagar: A leading Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) Manufacturing Company was fined Rs 25000 by officials of Legal Metrology Department Baramulla for manufacture and sale of non-standard milk packages.
It was said that, a case was registered against the Company after five deceptive milk packages of the company were seized from the market for evidence purposes.
Consequently, Assistant Controller Baramulla directed the Company to deposit a compounding fee of Rs 25000 for violating Legal Metrology Laws.
