It is a blunder on part of the state government”. When told that a case also stands registered against Togadia for creating communal disharmony through hate speeches, “Law is there to take action and to book the accused”, he said.

When asked whether Syed Ali Shah Geelani also had the right to express his views and move freely in a democracy, he said “Geelani is speaking about Jihad and division of country”.

BJP said Abdullah family should sit in a room to decide as to what they actually want. He said ‘Uncle, father and son were making conflicting statements within the family and acting as astray children’.

“NC is a party of divided family (members) where uncle (Dr Mustafa Kamaal), father (Dr Farooq Abdullah) and son (Omar Abdullah) are speaking different languages. It doesn’t have any particular vision. All of them should sit in a family room to decide what they actually want”, said senior leader BJP Ashok Khojuria.

Meanwhile, leader of rebel MLA’s of BJP Chaman Lal Gupta said that NC is living in fool’s paradise. “It might have got autonomy had it been serious about it. NC is creating the drama for its vote bank”, said Gupta. “NC has closed the chapter of autonomy much earlier and accepted that it (Autonomy) will never happen”, he added.
