For in-depth coverage of Jammu and Kashmir, a senior Kashmir journalist has won a top Indian award.
Riyaz Wani, a senior editor with New Delhi based Tehelka magazine, has bagged the prestigious Ramnath Goenka award for his reporting on Jammu and Kashmir.
Wani was earlier associated with The Indian Express and Greater Kashmir. He received the award for his “in-depth reportage” on Jammu and Kashmir for Tehelka magazine through 2013.
Ramnath Goenka award is given by The Indian Express in memory of its founder.
