Srinagar: Terming forces action in Molo Chitragam as sheer vengeance, Hurriyat Patriarch Syed Ali Geelani on Friday said that this “barbaric act is unjustified & immoral”.
In a statement issued here, calling forces action as ruthless, Geelani expressed resentment over the killing of elderly woman, thrashing people and ransacking properties by forces & said termed it “state terrorism”.
After routine combat & encounters between armed youth, forces in retaliation target civilians and ransack properties. It is unjustified and such retributions tantamount to war crimes, said Geelani.
