Forces have cordoned off district hospital Shopian and its surrounding area after receiving specific inputs of militants presence in the area on Wednesday afternoon.
Joint forces of Army’s 44 RR and SOG Shopian have cordoned off hospital and search operation has been started.
“Forces have started search operation in the hospital wards, residential quarters and the surrounding areas,” a local informed Kashmir Life.
Tension have gripped in the town as the search operation is going on, locals said.
There are specific inputs of militant presence in the area, police officials said.
