SRINAGAR: Government forces on Sunday launched a cordon and search (CASO) in Bhat Mohalla Shamusabad Khansahib area in Center Kashmir’s district Budgam on Sunday afternoon.
Reports said that a joint team of army’s 53 RR, SOG of Jammu Kashmir Police and CRPF cordoned off the Bhat mohalla Shamusabad village.
A police officer told news agency KDC the CASO was launched in the village following inputs about the presence of militants.
He said that large numbers of forces have been deployed in the area and door to door search operation is going on.
