Srinagar
Government forces on Tuesday morning launched a Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) in Kachwan area of Kokernag village in Anantnag district.
An official said that following inputs about the presence of militants a joint team of forces comprising army’s 9RR, 164 BN of CRPF and SOG of Jammu and Kashmir Police cordoned off the Kachwan area and searches were launched.
The officer added that the search operation was later called-off peacefully.
