Government forces on Saturday launched a cordon -and – search operation in Halmatpora forest in North Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
Reports said that a joint team of army’s 41RR and SOG cordoned off Check FatehKhan forests in Halmatpora.
An army official said that the searches in the area have been launched following suspicious movement.
SSP Shriram Ambarkar also confirmed that forces launched a search operation in the area.(GNS)
