Forces on Tuesday launched a cordon and search operation in Khanday Mohalla, Astan Mohalla and Namlabal areas of Pampore town in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
Reports said that the Joint team of army, CRPF, and Special Operation Group Pulwama launched a joint search operation after receiving inputs about the presence of militants in the area.
They added that a large number of troops have been deployed in the area and door to door search operation has started in the area.
A search operation was underway till the filing of this report.
