Government forces on Tuesday started a Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) in Hajin Bla village in Rajpora area in Pulwama district of South Kashmir.
Reports said that Joint team of army, CRPF and Special Operation Group Pulwama launched a joint search operation after receiving inputs about the presence of militants in the area.
Sources said that shopkeepers in Rajpora have closed their shops following CASO at Hajin.
Police sources said that minor stone pelting was also going on in the area.
They added that a large number of troops have been deployed in the area and door to door search operation has started in the area.
A search operation was underway till the filing of this report.
