Government forces on Friday morning launched a cordon and search operation in Pinjoora village of south Kashmir’s Shopian district.
Reports said that a joint team of army, SOG and Central Reserve Police Force laid a siege around Guglaru, Pinjoora village following inputs about the presence of militants in the area.
An eyewitness said that searches in the area were going on when this report was filed.
