Internet services have been suspended in Islamabad district following the killing of six militants in Shalgud village of Dashnipora in Bijbehara town on Friday morning for ‘security reasons’.
An official said that telecom operators have been asked to suspend the mobile internet services “as a precautionary measure”.
Earlier, six militants were killed in a gunfight at Shalgud village of Dashnipora area of Bijbehara.
