Government forces on Wednesday evening launched a cordon and search operation in Moolu Chitragam village of south Kashmir’s Shopian district.
Reports said that a joint team of army, SOG of Jammu Kashmir Police and CRPF cordoned off the Moolu Chitragam village.
They said the CASO was launched in the village following inputs about the presence of militants.
Sources said that large numbers of forces have been deployed in the area and door to door search operation is going on.
