Forces on Friday resorted to aerial firing in Pakherpora area of Budgam district in central Kashmir.

Reports said that a group of youth started pelting stones on a firces party at Pakherpora Bus Stand after they were returning from a cordon and search operation in Charipora area.

They said that this led to intense clashes.

The forces responded by firing teargas shells to disperse the protesters. However, the protesters refused to relent.

They said that forces resorted to aerial firing to break up the protesters. There was no immediate report of any injuries.
