Former Bureaucrat who retired as Director Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution Department Wednesday alleged that Passport authorities are not clearing his passport even after the expiry of one and a half year.

Abdul Wahid Tak, former Additional Deputy Commissioner Islamabad told CNS that one and a half year ago, as a senior citizen he had applied for a passport but the passport office has done nothing in this regard till date.

“I wonder why so much time was taken on the name of verification despite the fact I had served on important positions. This is the case with a former bureaucrat and I wonder how much difficulties common people would have been facing in getting their passports cleared,” he said.
