SRINAGAR: Senior National Conference leader and former Member of Legislative Council (MLC) Vijay Bakaya has resigned from the party on Saturday.

Reports said that in a letter to party Provincial President, Devinder Singh Rana, Bakaya informed her about his decision to resign from the basic membership of the party.

Reports quoted Bakaya as having said, “I will feel comfortable working with Altaf Bukhari’s new political party.”

Earlier, two senior Congress Party leaders, Manjeet Singh and Vikram Malhotra resigned from the party.
