SRINAGAR

Former State Congress Chief and senior leader Ghulam Rasool Kar on Thursday lashed out at his party colleague, Makhan Lal Fotedar, for his recent statement and said the latter has no idea of state polity and was working on a ‘secrete agenda’.

Kar also advocated for continuing the ties with National Conference, saying, “Congress must join hands with NC post 2014 elections also.” He however said that the matter was before the party high command.

“Makhanlal Fotedar does not know even an iota of state politics. He should not jump into policy matters and should avoid issuing controversial statements,” Kar told a local news agency, KNS.

“He is considered as one of the old friends of Mufti Mohamamd Sayeed. He would be definitely on a secret agenda,” said Kar. He added that with elections drawing closer ‘some irresponsible’ people have started issuing, irresponsible statements.

He said former Chief Minster and Union Minster Gh. Nabi Azad are mature politician with a tremendous credibility and capability.
