SRINAGAR

Claiming that Congress was rapidly ‘emerging’ in Jammu and Kashmir, senior Congress leader Makhan lal Fotedar on Thursday said that no party in the state was in a position to form the government on its own. Talking to a local news agency, KNS during his visit to Islamabad in South Kashmir, Fotedar said that coalition politics in the state has now become inevitable.

Regarding the Prime Minister’s package for development in the state, Fotedar said that no party other than Congress should get credit for the package and it was only congress that has made it possible.

He also said that there were some complaints regarding the rehabilitation of pandits and PM package and added that he would take up the matter with Prime Minster.

Fotedar offered prayers at Suriya Mandir Mattan and Sakhi Sakhi Zeen ud in wali shrine in Ashmuqam. He was accompanied by tourism minister G A Mir.
