Four people lost lives when a vehicle they were travelling in skidded off the road and fell into river Chenab near near Garsoo Pul Doda here on Friday.
An official said that a Tata Sumo on way to Doda from Charalla met with accident near Garsoo in Pul Doda and fell into river Chenab. Four people were on board the vehicle, bearing registration number JK06 5074, when the accident took place.
All the four dead bodies are trapped inside the vehicle in the river and rescue operation has been launched by Doda Police.
The deceased were not identified when this report was being filed.
