SRINAGAR: Four senior IPS officers of the erstwhile Jammu and Kashmir cadre have been empanelled for appointment to Inspector General (IG)-level posts under the Government of India.
The officers cleared for empanelment include Vikramjit Singh, Abdul Jabbar, Sarah Rizvi, and Tejinder Singh.
Their empanelment enables them to be considered for key assignments at the Centre across various ministries, departments, and central security agencies. The decision is regarded as a recognition of their service records and professional experience in public administration and policing.
