SRINAGAR: In a major development, four Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers from the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir have been posted as Assistant Secretaries in various central ministries in New Delhi.
An official memorandum from the Department of Personnel and Training confirmed that the officers—Anmol Rathore, Arjun Gupta, Seerat Baji, and Aparajita Aryan—will join the Government of India for an eight-week attachment beginning May 4, 2026.
Under the central postings, Anmol Rathore has been assigned to the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Arjun Gupta to the Ministry of Women and Child Development, Seerat Baji to the Ministry of Power, and Aparajita Aryan to the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment.
The attachments are part of a programme aimed at providing young IAS officers with exposure to central governance, policy formulation, and inter-ministerial coordination, enhancing their professional experience for future administrative responsibilities.
