Police on Wednesday claimed to have arrested four Kashmiri students from Punjab state over their alleged involvement in militancy.

A police spokesman said that a joint team of Jammu and Kashmir Police and Punjab police picked up four Kashmiri students who allegedly have links with militancy. “The students were linked to AGH and JeM militant outfits,” the spokesman said, adding that “Arms, ammunitions, and explosives were recovered from their possession.”

Meanwhile, police have taken them for questioning and further investigations are going on.
