Authorities booked four civilians under controversial Public Safety Act on allegations of ‘political activism’ and arrested them in Hajin area of Bandipore district in northern Kashmir.

The four arrested persons were identified by local media sources as Rayees Ahmad Baba of Asham village, Mohammad Assudullah Parrray of Hajin township, Mohd Azhar of Chandergeer village and Ghulam Mohiudin Khan of Paribal Hajin.

All the four were shifted to a far off place and placed in Kotbalwal jail in Jammu on Monday morning, a source told Kashmir Life.
