The one-way traffic on Jammu- Srinagar highway was disrupted on Monday due to the landslide in Rambhan area of Jammu.
An official said that due to landslide at Ramsu only one-way traffic will be allowed on the Jammu-Srinagar highway. Vehicles will be allowed on one side and no vehicle will be allowed to move from the opposite direction.” he said
Due to the landslide at Ramsu Rambhan the one-way traffic has been closed, this precaution has been taken keeping the safety of the travellers in mind,” the official added.
Since all essentials of life are routed into the landlocked Kashmir Valley through this highway, people of the valley often go through many problems when there is no connection with other parts of the world.
