Four suspected militants died while an army man was killed Thursday killed while two other troopers received injuries in an “on-going encounter” near LoC in North Kashmir’s Tanghdar.
Defence Spokesperson, N N Joshi told KNS that four suspected militants died in an “encounter” while three troopers were injured. “Signalman Ajay Singh Choudhary, one among the injured troopers later succumbed to his injuries,” Joshi said, adding that Choudhary who hails from Jhunjhunu, Rajasthan is survived by his parents, wife Meena Devi and a 10 months old son.
He said that the “encounter” raged in the area after suspected militants tried to enter this side of Kashmir, adding that the “operation is still going on”.
