SRINAGAR

Reports coming from Narbal said that severe ongoing clashes between angry youth and forces have left four other youth injured.

“Stone pelting and tear gas shelling are going on in Narbal,” reports said.

Pertinently, three youth got injured early Saturday morning as youth were protesting against the Tral killings.

One of the youth identified as Suhail Ahmad Sofi, who was hit by forces’ bullet, succumbed to his injuries on way to JVC hospital.

“As the news of Suhail’s killing reached his native place, violent clashes started in which other four youth were injured,” an eye witness said.

“Locals shifted them to SDH Magam instead of JVC as the bridge connecting Narbal to Srinagar has been blocked by forces,” he added.

Protests were going on as the last reports came in.

Meanwhile reports coming from restive Palhallan said stone pelting has begun in this northern town against the Narbal killing.
