Four persons were injured during clashes between protesters and government forces in Shopian district of south Kashmir on Friday.

The clashes erupted in Mimender and Bonebazar areas where forces fired pellets to disperse the stone pelting protesters, reports said.

Four injured were taken to district hospital Shopian, hospital sources said adding one of them with eye injury was referred to Srinagar for advanced treatment.

Thirteen militants, four civilians and three army men were killed during three gunfights in Shopian and Islamabad districts.
