Police Station Karan Nagar received a complaint from a shopkeeper of Karan Nagar area that he has been cheated by Tahir Amin Bahadur son of Mohammad Amin resident of Laximanpora, Batamaloo at present Bemina, Srinagar by providing a cheque (which was not honored by the bank) after purchasing electronic items. A case FIR number 03/2016 under section 420 RPC was lodged in Police Station Karan Nagar and investigation was taken up.
During the investigation, SHO Karan Nagar Pervaiz Ahmad nabbed the fraudster and recovered the items which were fraudulently taken by him.
