In a fresh exchange of firing between Indian and Pakistani troops along the International Border (IB), one BSF man was killed on Monday.

India and Pakistan always accuse each other for violating ceasefire when ever troops exchange firing along the Line of Control  (LoC) and IB in Jammu and Kashmir.

Defence sources said Pakistan troops fired at Indian posts along International Border in Hiranagar sector of Kathua district in Jammu and Kashmir. Pakistan restored to heavy firing using 80-mm motar that left one Border Security Force personnel dead.

This is the sixth ceasefire violation since Tuesday, the said.

“Earlier on Saturday, a woman was killed and six were injured in cross border firing by Pakistan Rangers in Jammu region,” they added.
