Authorities on Tuesday slapped another Public Safety Act (PSA) on Hurriyat (JK) leader Mushtaq-ul-Islam.
Mushtaq, head f his faction of Muslim League was arrested early last year much ahead of the Lok Sabha polls and since then he is undergoing detention.
Confirming another PSA on Mushtaq, Hurriyat Conference (JK) head and chairman Democratic Freedom Party Shabir Ahmad Shah said that slapping PSA one after another on Mushtaq ul Islam is totally undemocratic.
Mushtaq has been shifted to district jail Baramulla.
“By continuously keeping pro freedom leaders like Mushtaq ul Islam, Masrat Alam Bhat and others under detention, the authorities can’t break the resolve of resistance leadership but our resolve becomes stronger,” Shah said.
