SRINAGAR
After a prolonged dry spell, the tourist resort of Gulmarg Tuesday received a fresh spell of snowfall,
Reports said that the snowfall which though was not so intense and heavy has forced authorities to close down the Gandola as a precautionary measure.
However, the road connecting the ski resort to Srinagar was open till the reports last came in.
Tourist department is hopeful that the fresh snowfall is likely to attract more tourists to the ski meadow.
Meanwhile reports reaching Srinagar said that rains lash the plain areas of Baramulla district from this afternoon.
