Fresh snowfall was recorded during the night in the Valley. As of 6 am, 8 inches were recorded in Pahalgam, 6 to 7 inches in Daksum and Verinag, 12 inches in Shopian, 12 inches in Psimer and 5 to 6 inches in Kulan- Resin.
According to reports, road clearance operations are going on across the valley.
After two days of erratic power supply officials claim to have restored electricity in most parts of the areas.
Srinagar-Jammu highway will remain closed today as well, while flights may operate today.
