SRINAGAR: For the second consecutive day, higher reaches in north and central Kashmir received fresh snowfall, while the plains witnessed light rainfall on Tuesday.
Snowfall occurred in multiple places, including Sonamarg and surrounding areas. Light rain also lashed the plains, including Srinagar and other parts of the Valley.
Meanwhile, Director of the Meteorological Department (MeT), Dr Mukhtar Ahmad, said that generally dry weather is expected from tomorrow until February 14. However, there is a possibility of light rain and snow at isolated places on February 15 and 16.
He further added that the weather will remain generally dry on February 17, while February 18 and 19 may see cloudy conditions with a chance of light rain and snow at isolated places. (KNO)
