The slain four militants and two civilians killed in Frisal Kulgam have been buried Sunday evening amid protests in their respective villages.

According to reports the police has handed over the bodies to their families for burial. An official of police station Frisal confirmed to Kashmir Life that bodies have been handed over to the families.

The reports further suggest that huge number of people participated in the funeral amid emotional and strong sloganeering across the areas.

All the four militants are local and have been identified as Mudasir Ahmad Tantray (Redwani), Vakil Thokar (Harigam), Farooq Ahmad Bhat (Chak-e-Dasand) and Mohammad Younis Lone (Hawara).

The two civilian include Ashiq Reshi, son of the house owner. He was of around 30 years of age and was working as casual labourer in water works department. His body was recovered from the debris. He is survived by a three years old daughter Asha. The other civilian killed is a Sri Gufwara resident Mushtaq Ibrahim.
