SRINAGAR: The fuel supply situation across Jammu and Kashmir remains stable and adequate, with petroleum products and LPG available without disruption across the Union Territory, State Level Coordinator for the Oil Industry Himanshu Sharma said on Monday.
In a statement, Sharma said the entire fuel supply chain, including terminals, depots and retail outlets, is functioning smoothly and efficiently. He said Public Sector Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) have confirmed that the availability of petrol, diesel and Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) remains normal across Jammu and Kashmir.
He stated that fuel stocks are being continuously monitored and replenishment operations are progressing smoothly at all locations to ensure uninterrupted supply.
Sharma further said that LPG supplies to domestic consumers are being prioritised and maintained normally across the Union Territory, with necessary measures in place to ensure uninterrupted delivery.
According to the statement, the Oil Industry is maintaining close coordination on logistics, stock movement and retail operations to ensure seamless fuel availability throughout the region.
Appealing to the public not to indulge in panic buying, Sharma advised citizens to continue normal consumption patterns and rely only on official communications issued by Oil Marketing Companies regarding fuel availability.
