SRINAGAR: The Queen Elizabeth Commonwealth Scholarships (QECS) offer a unique opportunity to study a two-year Master’s degree in a low or middle income Commonwealth country

The host countries for the scholarship programme are: Fiji, Samoa, Vanuatu, South Africa and Sri Lanka. Several universities offer these scholarships.

The scholarships are offered across 41 departments in the fields of science, engineering, arts, commerce, and IT.

The candidate must be a citizen of a Commonwealth country and meet the university’s course criteria. Additionally, the applicant must have earned a 2:1 or higher on their undergraduate degree to qualify for the programme.

Selected applicants will be offered full tuition fee coverage, a living allowance, and accommodations. Furthermore, the return of economic flights to the host country (from and to their home countries) will be provided as well.

Commonwealth Scholarship deadline for the academic year 2023-2024 is 24 May 2023.
