SRINAGAR: The Chulalongkorn University Scholarship 2024 offers international students the opportunity to pursue higher education in Thailand without financial burden. This fully-funded scholarship recognises outstanding students worldwide for their academic excellence and dedication to learning.

The scholarship covers Master’s (2 years) and Doctoral (3 years) degree programmes, with distinct application deadlines for each Faculty/Programme. The deadline for the first semester of the 2024 academic year is May 13, 2024.

As a leading institution in Thailand, Chulalongkorn University is committed to fostering global cooperation by welcoming students from both ASEAN and Non-ASEAN nations.

The scholarship includes full coverage of tuition fees, accommodation, and a monthly stipend of 16,000 Baht. Additionally, it covers round-trip airfare as follows:
– ASEAN countries: 8,500 Baht per leg
– Asian countries: 12,000 Baht per leg
– Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Africa: 20,000 Baht per leg
– North and South America: 30,000 Baht per leg.

Eligibility criteria include being an international graduate student, with applicants from both ASEAN and Non-ASEAN countries eligible. Faculty members, researchers, and academic staff are encouraged to apply. Applicants must be newly enrolled students and have completed no more than one semester at Chulalongkorn University as graduate students. The previous degree obtained should be relevant to the chosen programme for the scholarship. Applicants must have achieved a minimum grade of 2.75 for undergraduate studies and 3.25 for graduate studies, and be under 40 years of age. Proficiency in English is required, with a TOEFL score of at least 500 or an IELTS score of at least 5.0. Applicants must be in good health, and employment within the country during the degree programme is not permitted.

Required documents include a fully filled-out application form, a passport-sized photograph, a resume or curriculum vitae (CV), official academic transcripts, a certificate of graduation (if applicable), a photocopy of the passport, two recommendation letters, and a medical certificate from a hospital in the applicant’s home country.
