SRINAGAR: Global Korea Scholarship (GKS) 2024 is open for students who aspire to pursue undergraduate studies in South Korea. For bright and intelligent students who cannot afford to study abroad, this fully funded foreign scholarship offers a chance. In Korea, the Global Scholarship Program offers two degree programs. There is no IELTS requirement for the GKS Undergraduate Scholarship. The deadline for submissions has not been defined.
There are two degree programs available, the first a bachelor’s degree program, and the second an associate degree program. Both of these programs include a one-year Korean language program.
Eligibility for Global Korea Scholarship requires applicants to be younger than 25 years old. Students must have a better cumulative grade point average (CGPA); the score percentile must be 80% or greater. This means they must have a CGPA of at least 2.64/4.00. Bachelor’s degree holders are not eligible to apply. Students must be in good physical and mental health and must provide English Language Requirements/Certificates. Applicants must not have any criminal record.
Benefits include complete coverage of tuition fees. Students will get a Housing Allowance when they arrive in Korea. Students will receive round-trip tickets for economy class on airlines. Additionally, the Korean government will offer free one-year Korean language lessons to students. Each student accepted into the program will receive a monthly stipend as well as a medical stipend.
Documents required to apply are a copy of current passport, proof of citizenship and family relationship, study plan, academic transcript, personal statement, two letters of recommendation, GKS applicant agreement and a personal medical assessment.
The Global Korea Undergraduate Scholarship 2024 in Korea has no set deadline and varies from county to country, university and Korean Embassy in their country of residence.
The deadlines for the university track and the embassy track are different. Candidates should verify with the Korean embassy in their country of residence for the Embassy Track requirements. Candidates must speak with qualified universities to learn the deadline for the university track.
