Srinagar

A Delhi court on Wednesday sent resistance leader Shabir Ahmad Shah to 14-day judicial custody. Shah was arrested in a decade-old alleged money laundering case for funding.

Additional Sessions Judge Sidharth Sharma sent Shah to jail after the Enforcement Directorate (ED) submitted that he was not required for further custodial interrogation.

Earlier, on August 3 the court had allowed the ED custody of Shah after the agency alleged that he was “ruining” the country by using the money to fund militancy.
