The government on Wednesday suspended Internet and cellular services in Pulwama district following the killing of three militants at Gulab Bagh village of Tral township.
Reports said that Cellular and mobile Internet services were snapped in to contain law and order situation.
However, the facility was not suspended on state-owned Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited.
Earlier, clashes rocked various parts of the district including at the site of the gunfight. Forces used tear smoke shells to disperse the protesters.
