SRINAGAR: The death toll in the militant attack on non-local workers in the Gagangeer area of Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district has reached six.
As per a report in NDTV, six people have been shot dead by militants in an attack on a construction site. Among the dead, five are non-local labourers. A local doctor has also been killed in the attack.
The militants opened fire on the camp housing labourers of a private company working on the construction of a tunnel at Gund area in the Ganderbal district, officials said.
The toll may rise as some of the injured have been referred to SKIMS, Soura.
