Hurriyat (G) chairman Syed Ali Geelani on Thursday while condemning the civilian killing in Khudwani Kulgam in South Kashmir said the innocent civilians in Jammu and Kashmir are facing worst type of ‘state-sponsored terrorism’.

The spokesman in a statement said that Geelani while appealing UN General secretary, OIC and world human rights bodies for their cognizance, said: “this inhuman act of the government forces is an eye-opener for the world human rights bodies and the international community”. The world community should take note of this and make the democracy answerable for all crimes its forces are committing in Kashmir.”

Innocent killings are unacceptable, Geelani said and added that “government forces present in Jammu Kashmir are committing crimes against humanity. Geelani extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families and added: “we were mourning the Shopian killings and government forces have created one more mayhem in Kulgam.”

Paying tributes to Sharjeel Ahmad Sheikh, Bilal Ahmad Tantray, Faisal Ilahi and Aijaz Ahmad Pala, Geelani blamed pro-Indian parties for killings civilians and warned of dire consequences if the war against civilians is not stopped forthwith.
