Hurriyat Conference (G) chairman, Syed Ali Geelani has extended his Shutdown call to the whole valley against the Sopore killings tomorrow on June 24, 2014.
One militant and a civilian died in the Krankeshivan area of the town on Monday.
“Geelani sahib has now extended the shutdown call against the killings to whole valley,” Ayaz Akbar said.
Geelani had earlier called for shutdown in Sopore only, later he extended the call to Baramulla district and finally the old and ailing separatist leader extended it to the whole valley.
“Geelani received countless phone calls from all over the valley and the callers expressed their anger for calling shutdown only in a particular district and area, so Geelani extended his call,” a close Hurriyat (G) source told Kashmir Life.
