SRINAGAR
The senior most separatist leader and chairman of Hurriyat Conference, Syed Ali Geelani was arrested again on Saturday afternoon, at around 3.30pm.
The spokesperson of his party informed Kashmir Life that Geelani’s arrest is “surrender of Omar government.”
Geelani was released on October 29, after 235 days of his house arrest after the hanging of Mohammad Afzal Guru.
Pertinently his latest arrest has come at a time when he was scheduled to address a public gathering in North Kashmir’s Palhallan village on November 17.
