Geelani is real ruler, NC’s Akbar Lone says

SRINAGAR: Senior National Conference leader, Akbar Lone terms the frequent closure of school very unfortunate adding that government has failed in every aspect.

He told PTK, a local news gatherer, that they have no right to sit in power if they cannot provide safety to the people who have chosen them.  “The frequent call for the closure of schools and colleges are very alarming and poses great threat to the future of this state”, he said.

He asks that if police have to decide the closure and opening of schools then government should be handed over to them and declares it a police state.

“This government is no more capable to govern the state”, Lone said, adding that they should resign one by one and apologise to public for befooling them for long.

He said that they (Govt) should salute Syed Ali Geleeni and tell him that they are law makers just by name, however in real sense he (Geelani) is the real ruler.

“The incidents of braid chopping are very unfortunate and demands condemnation from every corner of the state. The culprits should put behind the bars soon to gain the public confidence back”, he added.

He said that the chief minister of the state should answer people that why government has failed to control such mysterious incidents which have spread fear among the people.

“The ruling government has completely lost the confidence among the general public. Chief Minister should resign by saying that she has lost control and is not capable to tackle such incidents any more”, he added.
